Q: How can I program the keyless entry remote to my Infiniti QX4?
I own a '98 Infiniti QX4 and purchased a new keyless entry remote for it. I have been told that the sequence to program it is to lock the doors, insert the ignition key ten times, wait for lights to flash, and press unlock on the remote. However, I have been unsuccessful in my attempts. How can I get it to work?
A: You are missing one step. When you see the lights flash after inserting the key numerous times, you must insert the key one more time and turn it to the ON position. Then you press the unlock on the remote. You will see the lights flash one more time as you press unlock button on the remote. Take the key out, unlock the doors and try the remote. It should work fine.
Q: Will an alarm Remote keypad from a 2006 Infiniti Coupe work on a 2000 Qx4?
I have an extra remote keypad for my 2006 Infiniti Coupe. The FCC ID KBRASTU15. Im wondering if it will work on a 2000 Infiniti Qx4 if i reprogram it. I know when i look it up online it calls for a slightly different remote but is it possible it would still work?
A: Absolutely not. The part number for the coupe is 28268-C991A and the QX4 is 28268-2W610. The system wont allow remote to be programmed for a differnt car.

Q: How much will it cost to replace the suspension on a 1997 infiniti qx4?
I know it depends on what is being replaced but I just want a ballpark figure if I replace the most common things.
A: Rear shocks for your vehicle are about $50 each: ($100)
Front struts for your vehicle are about $100 each: ($200)
A set of 4 coil springs is probably about: ($400)
Probably 4-6 hours of labor. Assuming an average shop rate of $60/hr: ($240 - $360)
Total Estimate: $940 - $1060
You could cut this cost down by buying cheaper suspension parts (the low-end Monroe shocks and struts are about 30% cheaper), but I can't recommend it if you plan on keeping the vehicle.
Also note that any problems during the install that are due to worn or frozen bushings is going to increase the cost of parts as well as labor, and it will add up quickly. Don't be surprised if the shop recommends new ball joints, suspension end links, bushings, camber kits or suspension mounts, all of which significantly increase time and cost.
Q: How do I manually reset the Check Engine Light on a 2000 Infiniti QX4 without using an OBD II Scan Tool?
I performed a service on the car myself; but the check engine light is still on. How do I reset it myself without having to purchase an expensive OBD scanner?
I know AutoZone or Checkers can do this for free, but there are no locations nearby where I live. I already tried to disconnect the battery, but that did not work.
Thanks in advance for any insightful answers.
A: how long did u wait on the battery? sometimes you have leave it unhooked from 20+ min, not just diconnect and reconnect it
Q: How much would it cost to fix a catalyic converter on an Infiniti QX4?

Q: Where can I buy a rear gate for Infiniti QX4 1999?
I need to replace the rear gate of my SUV Infiniti QX4 1999, color code: CR0, tuscan beige.... I can't find any resources on-line. I've been to the body shop and some guy says it's $1200 just for the gate not including painting.... sounds like a rip off.

Q: All components i need to replace suspension on '97 Infiniti Qx4 and whats the cost of labor?
Vehicle bounces and can hear a knocking noise from the suspension on every bump. I found a company that will give me KYB front struts and rear shocks for $200, but do I need any additional components? I see parts like mounts, boots, etc. sold seperately, do I need these too?
A: lot of cash. is all You need.
Q: How long will a 99' infiniti Qx4 last?
I might get one for my first car but i want to know how long it will last and if it's reliable. It has 89,765 miles on it.
A: Depends on how well it has been taken care of. Look for maintenance records to see if routine things were taken care of and if oil changes were done on a consistent basis. If the previous owner did these things, chances are that the truck was well cared for which would increase its life span. Given that Infiniti is a Nissan product, it should have a rather long life with decent reliability.
Q: I need help in customizing my Infiniti QX4?
Where can I find a website or store where i could find affordable Tires and Rims packages, Air Intakes, sound system, and many more.
A: Look affordable rims they just looks cheap. I am honest about it. Is like jewelry, affordable jewels looks like cheap stuff.
Is going to costs you bro !
Good luck! :-)
Q: How do I check the AC fuse on 2001 Infiniti QX4?
Today i put my AC on Econ for a while. When I switched back to Auto, the fan no longer worked. I cannot get it to blow any air. I would like to check the fuse. I found it, but can't get it out. The manual says to use the "fuse puller", but unfortunately, it does not say where it is or what it looks like. I can't find one, and assume I don't have one.
Is there a chance it is in fact just a blown fuse?
If so, how do I get the fuse out, and how do I confirm whether it's blown?
If it's not just a fuse, I assume I need to take it to the dealer. However, they also service our Lexus, and between the 2 cars, I rarely get out of there without spending $500-1000.
Thanks very much in advance.
John
A: You can find a fuse puller at any auto parts store like Kragen or Auto Zone. It looks like a fat plastic tweezer... usually yellow or orange so you can find it easily. Then you need an inexpensive continuity checker (ohmmeter). You clip the checker onto the two legs of the fuse and read whether it has continuity or not. If not, it's bad. Sometimes you can look inside and see if the element has separated like a blown lamp filament. Or, you can just replace the fuse and see if the AC works.
There is a very good chance that it's a blown fuse. However, that being said, when a fuse blows there's a better than 50/50 chance that something is shorted. Be prepared to spend another grand to get the AC fixed.
