Q: What is rev-matching in the infiniti m35?
What is rev-matching in the infiniti m35?
A: rev matching is the same in all manual cars
when you change gears, you want to match the engine speed with the transmission speed
never heard of automatics having rev matching
but i looked it up, and it said it has downshift rev matching
but basically same thing what i just said
when it downshifts, it raises the engine speed to match the tranny speed when you downshift, giving you a smoother shift
Q: What oil should I use for my 2006 Infiniti M35?
It has 56,000 miles. Thank you
A: look in your owners manual, usually 5w-30.
Q: What is the recommended tire PSI for a '06 Infiniti M35 Sport with 19" rims? And any diff in Winter or Summer?
A: i would set them to 35psi in the winter and 32psi in the summer the vehicles tire pressure system will set light if pressure goes lower than 28psi or system malfunction
Q: Im paying $700/month for a 2 year 15000 mile/year lease on a Infiniti M35 w/ Advanced tech package.Good Deal?
A: Man that sucks..
Q: I have an '06 Infiniti M35, does it really require "premium" gasoline as the manual says? Or is regular fine?
A: Your car has a high-performance engine which has high compression. High compression can cause the gasoline to "detonate" which is where it does not burn evenly and explodes rapidly. Octane in fuel acts as a stabilizer, and it actually makes gas less susceptible to burning. The higher the octane, the higher the compression an engine can safely run. Modern cars have knock and detonation sensors, so if you put cheap, low octane gas in your car, it will simply retard the timing to make less power and prevent the detonation. So, in that car, you REALLY should run high octane gas. It is what it was designed for. If you wanted to run low octane gas, you should have purchased a low-performance Nissan sedan instead of the Infiniti.
Q: questions on the infiniti m35 and m45?
i am looking to buy a new car and i made the decision to buy a infiniti but i dont know which one to get i have narrowed it down to the m45 and the m35 which one is better? ive heard really good things about the two. i want some power in my car which one is faster? anyone who has ever driven these cars or anyone that knows about them please help me i need more information
A: both are very good cars. the M35 has the award winning six cylinder engine and the M45 has an 8 cylinder however, there is only a 22 horsepower difference between the two ... I think I would elect for the 6 cylinder and keep the 6500 bucks in pocket!!! see link for comparison...
Q: Infiniti M35/45 Package Question?
On Infiniti.com, I was building both an M35 and a M45 to see how big the price difference was when fully loaded. When I built the 35, I saw that it had the package (Premium Package) where you get the rear-seat console, DVD, radio, heated rear seats and reclining seats. But for the 45, all I saw was the DVD package. So is all of that standard with the 45?
Could you please answer as soon as possible. My Dad is thinking of trading his Acura RL for it.
A: I don't blame your father. The RL is a disappointment. The M45 also has the Premium package available, and for 2008 Models they now come in the M45X model, all wheel drive for the V8, which wasn't available in the first two years. The M is an incredibly solid, well built, reliable car. I have not encountered any serious problems, and only very few minor problems, only in the 2006 models.
Q: What's the best color for an Infiniti M35?
A: BLACK! It really shows off the tastefully placed chrome accents on the car. I'm getting my Black Infiniti M35 Sport soon. I can't wait!! Also I like Diamond Graphite and Brilliant Silver. The other colors don't appeal to me. Best of luck, and great taste in cars.
Q: I want a BMW 5 series but I have 9 months left on my Infiniti M35 lease. Would BMW work with me?
A: they work with you but if you buy a car they just add on what you owe on the lease. your better off waiting until the lease is up.
Q: Looking to buy an 07 Infiniti M35X through an auto auction. Any auto dealers want to help me out for a fee?
I'm looking to buy the Infiniti M35 AWD with at least the Technology Package (Which basically includes the Journey Package plus the Bose stereo, CD changer with MP3, eight speakers, Nav system which is a must, and rear monitor).
New, I'm looking at the low to mid $40K's. Used through a dealer I'm looking at mid to high $30K's. Third party, I'm slightly better at the mid $30K's.
I know I can get the same car through an auction in the low $30K's. I have access to Manheim's website but don't have a dealers license, nor do I want to go through the trouble. I'm looking for somebody with a dealers license and who knows what they are doing to give me a hand picking this up at an auction. If it's worth your time, then it's worth $1,000 dollars to me in cash. I'd rather pay somebody a grand to help me out than to keep trying to hash out a better deal through a dealership or third party.
Thanks in advance.
A: Carmax.com Stock # 4471156 in San Antonio, TX. Not an M35x but close enough for $35K.
Who would sell a new car at an auction unless that car has been totaled or who knows what happened to it.
Solicitation is not allowed on this forum. If you want an '07 Infiniti M35x, wait until the '08's come out and have fun making the lowest offer possible.
Q: Which sedan is better -- Lexus ES 350 or Infiniti M35?
Other make/models considered, but reliability is my biggest priority.
A: If reliability is your biggest priority, definitely go with the Lexus ES 350.
